Denhinja Films – Terms & Conditions

By booking with DenHinja (“the Director”), you agree to the following:

1. Website Purpose & Portfolio Use
This website serves as a portfolio showcasing the creative work of Nhi (DenHinja Films). All content is for viewing purposes only and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

2. Booking & Availability
All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a project date and confirms your booking.
Dates are not guaranteed until the deposit has been received.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid on or before the day of production.
Failure to provide the required deposit or balance may result in cancellation of the booking.


3. Project Scope
Each project is custom. The scope, creative direction, deliverables, timeline, and budget will be defined in writing before production begins.
Any changes to the agreed scope may result in additional fees and timeline adjustments.

4. Pricing & Payment
Pricing is determined per project and varies based on concept, production needs, crew, equipment, post-production, and usage rights.
Payment terms, including deposits and final balances, will be outlined individually and must be met as agreed.

5. On the Day of the Shoot
Clients must remain reachable on the day of production. Any changes should be communicated as early as possible.
If production is delayed due to the client, additional fees may apply depending on the impact of the delay.
Outstanding balances must be paid as agreed before or during production unless otherwise stated in writing.

6. Rescheduling & Cancellations
Rescheduling requests must be made as early as possible.
If rescheduled within a short notice period, deposits may be forfeited.
If DenHinja is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, emergency, or technical failure), the client will be offered one of the following:
A rescheduled date
A replacement creative (if available)
A full or partial refund, depending on the situation

7. Creative Control & Artistic Direction
DenHinja retains creative discretion over visual style, editing, framing, pacing, and storytelling, while respecting the agreed concept and brand direction.
Client feedback is welcomed during the revision process; however, final creative decisions remain with the Director.

8. Revisions
The number of revisions included will be agreed per project. Additional revisions outside the agreed scope may incur extra fees.

9. Footage Ownership & Usage Rights
DenHinja Films retains copyright ownership of all footage unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Usage rights, licensing, and distribution permissions will be defined per project.
Unless stated otherwise, clients may not edit, resell, sublicense, or use footage beyond the agreed scope.
DenHinja Films retains the right to use footage for portfolio, website, marketing, festival submissions, and promotional purposes unless a written opt-out or NDA is agreed prior to production.

10. Credit & Promotion
Clients agree to credit DenHinja Films when appropriate unless otherwise agreed.

11. Client Responsibilities & Safety
Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate information, materials, and approvals in a timely manner.
Securing all necessary permissions, releases, and location rights unless otherwise agreed.
Ensuring locations are safe and accessible.
DenHinja Films is not responsible for accidents or injuries unless caused by proven negligence.
If the environment becomes unsafe due to harassment, threats, or hazardous conditions, production may end immediately without refund.

12. If Something Goes Wrong
In the rare event that no usable footage is delivered, liability is limited to a refund of payments made.
DenHinja Films is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including missed opportunities or emotional distress, except where required by law.
Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Force Majeure (Unexpected Events)
If events beyond reasonable control occur (including extreme weather, government restrictions, equipment failure, or emergencies), the project may be rescheduled.
If rescheduling is not possible, a fair resolution or refund may be offered.

14. Delivery & Post-Production
Delivery timelines, formats, and post-production scope will be agreed per project.
Post-production includes editing consistent with the agreed creative direction.
Additional edits, alternative cuts, or revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees.


DenHinja Films retains project files for a limited time after delivery. Long-term storage is not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.

15. Privacy & Data Use

Personal information submitted through the website or during communication is used solely to respond to inquiries and manage projects. Data is not sold or shared with third parties unless required by law.

16. Agreement
Proceeding with a booking confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
